Dot likes to tell a story with her art and stretch your imagination. Her NW themes are exuberant, with colorful, well-balanced design and a willingness to take risks. Dot’s early career included deck-handing on SE Alaska work boats and raising her family in remote fish canneries. In Seward, where she lives now, she owned an art studio. Now retired, she has not slowed down, continuing to paint and assume leadership roles with the arts in Seward.
