Artist statement: It’s easy to find artistic inspiration living in Halibut Cove. We become intimate with the seas, the sky, and the wildlife here. These images appear again and again as themes in my artwork. It’s also an advantage to have so many friends and neighbors who are artistic. I’m inspired by their energy and creativity and by their encouragement of my work.
