Nancy Tietje
Nancy Tietje, of Beading Fascinations, Ketchikan, Alaska, creates bead artwork of all kinds. She has been beading for over 25 years incorporating a variety of glass beads, unique shells and embellishments to create one-of-a-kind pieces.
Nancy enjoys designing earrings, necklaces and bracelets as well as small sculptures, baskets and ornaments. “I love those little pieces of glass that have glorious colors, have a wonderful tactile sensation and can be constructed into little creations.”
Nancy shares her love of beading by teaching classes for children and adults through Ketchikan Gateway Borough Parks & Recreation and the Ketchikan Area Arts & Humanities Council.
