Trained as a machinist and millwright, Rick Potter worked in the construction industry as a welder. Using his knowledge of metals, he transitioned into jewelry making upon retirement. His designs are classic and unpretentious. Hand forging and the selective application of heat contribute to the unique textures and colors found in Rick's jewelry. His focus on the use of mixed metals results in a harmonious collection of contemporary jewelry.
