HALIBUT PENDANT WITH TEAL FRESHWATER PEARL 18" CHAIN

Silver pendant accented with a freshwater pearl measuring approximately 3/4" x 1/2" on an 18" chain

The halibut swim at great depths in the deep bays of Alaska. As it ages, it is transformed because it starts its life swimming on a vertical plane, shifts to the horizontal, as it belatedly discovers that nature intended it to be a bottom feeder. Almost as an after thought, the underneath eye then migrates to the top as form follows function. This pendant has a carefully applied matte finish and a deep teal blue freshwater pearl.
