Artist's description: This teenage Tenakee-ite has a summer job working on one of the large local commercial fishing boats. The background of the original watercolor painting was stenciled using a brass template. These templates were left over from the old days when wooden fish boxes were stenciled instead of having labels stuck on cardboard containers as is done today
